Sanju, you know about the issue with price targets, Yet you keep giving price targets without proof.

Is this randomly made up price? Also if this is not confrmed news edit you title. It suggests it will be surely sold .

1) Even if there is a crossign at Rs 35 or even Rs 45 , you know how market behaves. AAIC crossing at Rs 128 but still trading at Rs 80+. BIL crossign at rs 5.5 still at rs 3.2
2) UBC was trading at Rs 14 for a considerable time. Also goign with book value and current earnings , paying Rs 35 will be crazy for the investor ( if they do) . That is over 100% market price over the last year or so.

VISTA is not planning on selling. It is owned by Genting

There was an internal restructure within Vista where Lovell and the other one in Singapore sold their stakes in Vista to Genting

After that Vista owned Genting entered into a joint venture with CIMB and Lovell and the other one.

http://www.cimb.com/index.php?ch=352&pg=1220&ac=955&bb=attachment_1

What you may see is a internal shareholder restructure of Vista where Genting sells to someone else (private sale)

Agree 100%
But according to the speculation UBC deal is for 100% share ownership - Like AIA did - the sources say by way of even a mandatory offer even the new party will go for 100% ownership and they are the same people who are going to take over CITI bank operations in Sri Lanka as well ..

So it is not like BIL & AAIC or any other deal ...

Collectors at low level might be winners of big time - But allways with speculation the Risk also involved - we have to take that to account as well

After all fortune favours the brave !!

cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers
