its seems we are still far behind with our peers ...total wealth of top 20 rich ppl in SL not even US$2 billion.

how they can create jods for 20 million people of this county with $2 billion.

actually our politician also not rich as compare to other countries politician.
really rich people dont do risky job like politics. if you are rich enough,you have better option to make money

I am sure there are ways to get rich by just doing politics ;-) . Yes depending on political power and corruptness and country you live in certain politicians e can become billionaires .

Most time will never know their wealth. ( Mubarak wealth estimates came out after he resigned)

Also it it worthwhile to note that some selected politicians who want to do genuine service to country are rich before they enter politics

The loss incurred by Public Funds including Govt Banks,other Privet sector
investors and Depositors of Finance companies may be equal to their excess wealth ( After 2009)

The Biggest problem is most of them earn this wealth with the support of regulators and govt politicians

When there is no rule of law and country is run by an authoritative rule
you can do anything
