Sri Lanka’s weekly Treasury bill auction held today saw rates declining across the board, the information released by the public debt office showed.

Accordingly, the three month tenor bills fell to 9.20-pct from last weeks 9.23-pct, while the six month rate fell by just a basis point to stand at 10.22-pct.

One year rate also fell by a basis point from last weeks rate to reach 11.33-pct.

Central Bank has received Rs. 37.86 billion worth of bids for the auction, while it has only accepted Rs. 22.53 billion of it to settle Rs. 11 billion worth of maturing bills.
