This confirms that TWOD is in deep trouble. CIFL trouble will be worsened with new husband Chairman and wife CEO combination.

Good luck for shareholders of both companies.

Will someone buy TWOD?

I am not sure how they are going to restructure TWOD. Will they inject some fertilizers to trees to grow at fast rate and matured by next year?

The next point is, If the baord members are not capable of running the TWOD and has to depend on a consulatnt, How can they appoint themselves to CIFL board.

Does it means they will have to look for another consultant to advsie CIFL Board .

By the way dont know whther its Ruwans advise to takeover Aspic.

Touchwood hires consultant on restructuring, mergers & acquisitions and investment relations
Sri Lanka’s Touchwood Investment PLC has hired Ruwan Silva to help the company’s ongoing restructuring process and also to assist in the areas of mergers & acquisitions and investment relations.

Accordingly, Touchwood in a stock market disclosure announced that Silva, who is also the CEO and Chairman of the listed eChannellng PLC, has been appointed as Principal Consultant and Adviser to its Board of Directors.

The appointment will also see Silva assisting the plantation firm in identifying and introducing strategic investors to the company.

Swarna Malony, the Deputy Chairman of the Company adding further in the market disclosure says, Touchwood Investment is currently embarking on a substantial restructuring process, which is aimed at enhancing profitability.

The listed Touchwood Investment PLC is engaged in the business of planting and managing mahogany plantations and lease such plots to local & foreign investors.
