All most all the tea plantations are having great Cash flows these days which is exceptional and not an cyclical adjustment as we all think. Some may record PE of 1 with these low prices and we can expect attractive dividends even from non dividend paid companies.

This week tea Auction also will definitely average above 420 - 425 range.
I believe all these due to the Currency depreciation we had. I may be incorrect ?

Yep Jana,

U should accept that there are tea companies with PE of 2. For an example MASK having a earnings more than 3 for last 3 months which is exceptional to normal tea price trend and trading below 13..........PE multiplier is around 1 ? Just wait for the latest result for it to come below one.

We have very few Tea companies ne machan.

Last quater report cannot be multiplied by 4 to take Annual EPS. Very wrong concept. Go mask- their six month profit nearly 2 befr this qtr and its nine month lost for lat year was 19.3.. No1 want to hold this type of company for long term . If sum companies traded at discounted price then their should be a reason for that.....

@ Jana1 ,

You are correct. The reason why we cant get the multiplied figure is that the nature of the Plantation industry is cyclical. But now the cycle is already broken with unexpected Auction prices in tea industry.
Any way if you says no i am ok lets wait until the results are issued.

Arena certain tea only companies can be hit for 1 or 2 quarter due to wage issue.
