You should have minimum 100 shares for Taj and GHLL, i dont know about N'eliya

even if you hold 1 share of TRAN then you can enjoy their lunch buffet in meeting day

and if you hold 1 NEST then you can enjoy their 500/= worth product in meeting day

like that

heyleys offer 500/= worth of their product at their meeting day

TPL and kAHA offer TEA packets

LION ,BREW offer BEER ( 6 bottle & 6 bottle ) both meeting in same day within 15 minutes interval ..(my bro has these stock for beer) note: I never hold it Very Happy

long time back KINN sent luxury bus to pick up share holders to take them to meeting from galle face to kandy after meeting ....nice lunch buffet then they will drop back in galle face again same day .. nice trip and food

This is the mentality of our so called investors. I don't know why these poeple are chasing for silly things. You better go to a wesak dhansal in coming days, rather than chasing these hotel shares just for food.

its true...

But GHLL and TAJ are sending vouchers . So you can plan and book the day and go with your partner or one more person enjoy the day.. vouchers for two people...

But long time back I remember when I was in the TRAN meeting people run away from the meeting hall before finish meeting and they grab the food and fill the bags as well.. So indecent behaviour.

and you can accept offers when you go to other company meeting.. its not bad ..

most of them not attend the meeting ..they are waiting for the benefit announcement .. you can say or request something from shareholder opinion time rather than waiting for new issues...
if you have any ideas then u can give some hint to them as well so keep at least 1 or 2 share and attend the meeting if you are free... is good

I am not against when you get offers when you attend to annual general meetings. But there are guys, who hold 1 or 2 shares for a lunch. These companies should maintain minimun number of shares to call for annual general meetings (At least Rs 50, 000/- worth shares). Then at least genuine investors will benefit rather than the time wasters.
