Mr.Khan, how is this possible or you are just guessing. Kindly note that this was purchased by JKH and others long ago and converted the entity to a prper bank after obtaining the banking licence it is now called NTB bank. The old firm was a dormant entity in the portfolio and hence the decision to shut I suppose.

Now how can the NTB share value increase from this are there any assest in the books to be transferd or some magic through this??

SUJA It was OTB ( Overseas Trust Bank - a foreign Bank ) which acquired by JKH and converted to NTB. Later they acquired MLL and merged with NTB.

Correct. MLL was offered shares + cash if I remember.

MLL is a very profitable part of NTB. What they have done is to transfer MLL assets to NTB and keep it within one entity .......... Basel II improvement reasons

Rainmaker, So it is already accounted for in the PBV?

Or is it yet to be done, if its the latter then there is a case but this is not mentioned in the annula report isnt it?
