Past few month and today me and family members were contacted by Kanrich Finance and Tochwood on various investments. How they got my mothers name an address is surprising. However these people are not genuine so please advice you know against investing with them.

I see that there has been an appointment at a finance company to a very top position which has been mentioned on this forum (not CIFL) and he is someone who got fired several years back for failing a drug test. You wonder why there is mismanagement at finance companies? This is one!.

She had with swarnamahal for like 10 years which I told to take out. So they must have given info?

hmm...It seems probable.
Actually few employers who were holding higher positions in SFS have shifted to Kanrich. They might have given those information.
I have a good experience also.

Currently I've invested in Kanrich because they have offered me a higher rate but I'm on much attention. One of my faithful friend work there. That's why I put money and not for their force advertising.

Ayyo why? After your momma took out her money Edirisinghes companies are going to have to raise 1.5 billion in debentures. See what a massive deficit your advice caused?

I strongly advice u to refrain from seeking higher interest goals with these kinda companies.. CIFL & Kan RICH are, to me, more or less alike in their nature of exposes. So both have no small time crooks..
We all tend to carry emotional aspects towards our friends and just as to give him some business we done hesitate in lending money or going for FDs in companies they work. We also believe they keep an eye as for faith we put on him or her.
But, have you ever thought the Ceylinco chairmen or his director board would carry out fraud related activities? Then Sakvithi, for being an English teacher to do massive frauds?

What can ur faithful friend do in such situations? I dont think these top level organised crimes are leaked to even the ppl other than accomplices.. Exclamation

Sorry for late comments.
It is not only about a fraud.
Actually the situation can arise even without a fraud, with the time. (do not panic and withdraw , you have time)
Imbalance of commitments and earnings could drag many finance companies to no-return pit.
The condition of a Golden house or Eeya Tea in eye is also not that good.

Those who piled up Land based assets using borrowed money are in danger these days.
Most of them are gong to issue debentures. They issue new 13-15% to pay back 19-21% loans or depositors. This way, their risk is transferring to unsecured debenture holders.
Most probably unsecured debenture holders may suffer in future if the companies fail.

Guys the latest news is Dammika Siriwardana and Roshan Egodage are in talks about merging two companies so the hidden accounts can be dissolved inside Commercial Credits Large asset base. Thease people will some how get away with what they have done.
