Are we ahead of another "Super September"(S.S.) ?

Big players drag market down to collect @ bargain and they will start to selling those for us again. So ASI will start to run again 6300 or even more.

Who knows???

September has been one of the best months historically - foreign fund activity esp - my advice is to sell today, buy in 2 weeks

From mid Sept to Mid Dec will be a better period for the CSE

But the next 2 weeks wont be good at all - SELL

I think" Authorities" may not allow super September this time.

Because if foreigners start selling BOP problem may arise

You may correct,
I entered to CSE on later 2011. Passed two September's but I didn't witnesses said September only have read about S.S. on news papers.
Although I have a expectation about this time. When end this down trend?

SOmeone sometime ago said market was behaving unusual. Except for few counters I felt it was behaving naturally at that time except for chain effect to drag the good and the bad when index falls on correction of the big culprits.


Right now , I think the same thing applies but I am agreeing that it looks unusual with some deliberate pushing first and then dragging down of some counters effecting the overall market mentality.

Where is small investors   getting wiped out. Share which reported positive earning last quarter is sold cheap too.

The play with CTC , NEST specially is ruthless. Even today market jumped from 0.9% loss to 0.2% becuase odd lot of NEST and CTC was bought .

If authorities want more foreign attraction and investor confidence , time to do something . The present market behavior is very pathetic to say the least.  Can we expect a turnaround soon? Hm..

Cycles is one thing but unethical play is another.

Small investors are again tested to leave the market.

On the positive side, who know what a few well directed news items can do to the market.  Letting it fall below 5800 is not a good thing.

BUKI looks very cheap, despite the crap about the ownership structure

PLC has not corrected

SHL, SAMP, SEYB look very cheap atm

NDB should sneak a sell down of their 99% control of CDIC

Yes, 100% agree.

It's not a hard thing to do.Just track down the few trades of CTC,NEST.

Nov prices  can go up if opposition(UNP) shows reasonable improvement in PC election

Pl don't misunderstand I am not a supporter of UNP

Because most of retail buyers still think UNP is more investor friendly

than this govt and this govt has not done any thing to change that attitude

Good prediction... But my mind telling about S.S. In nov also market will perform to some extend as Celtic said.

I think supper September is not decided now

That will decided by some other force

That is the tragedy of present stock market in Sri lanka
