[Chairman] The proposed development at Citrus Kalpitiya has been temporarily put on hold as we explore opportunities such as possible joint ventures with large tour operator networks and a mixed development project.
[Group CEO] Work on the proposed hotel and villa project in Kalpitiya has been temporarily suspended and is due to commence soon after the opening of Citrus Waskaduwa. All approvals relevant to the project have now been obtained with the company retaining the option of developing 32 exclusive private villas to be sold on upfront basis.
‘Mixed Development’ is the term that Packer, JKH and the GOSL used to express new development of Casino projects.
