I’m sure we can expect very lucrative financial statements from most of the fundamentally strong counters and also good announcements from them. People who didn’t panic definitely will get the benefit even though their portfolio is red at the moment. We can see now one by one good announcements are popping up

This is very important thing but hard to practice my friend...We should be more calm and cool when the market red... Cool Cool Cool

but will the announcements and the financial performance be able to wipe of the redness in the counters???? that's my worry.... if does, i'd be the happiest of all, and so would most others feel....

Thanks for open and sincere discussion. Financials are good, SEC is also relaxing, postponing and amending regulations in order to encourage growth and investments in the CSE. It is difficult to predict when exactly the market will pick up momentum. With the release of financials solid momentum could be seen.

it's only in sri lanka that people expect the market to pick up when financials are released.

Wikum the market is not declining because of some UN report. Have you read it? I certainly haven't and I will bet my entire portfolio that no foreign fund manager has read it either. They don't give a damn about politics. Foreign funds are keeping away because EU and US funds are heading back home. It's happening all over the world. People reading political columns might want to reallocate some of their time to read international business news.
