Almost all major world markets  closed in  considerable Green  ( either thurday or on Friday)
Can CSE take the same trend , be opposed to it or close Flat to be neutral.

There still appears some selling. Today DIAL 400 mil is it foreign ?
Just now JKH had a 220000 share crossing at 229.

Just remember , when people expect others wise things can go opposite.

Out of all shares IF some foreigners might want to sell, I hope not for CTC and NEST.

These share are high caps trading at premiums at CSE.
Some companies are still holding to CTC for example which they bought below Rs 300 ( and now at Rs 1300. )
Same propoirtions with NEST . One good thing is most companies who bought are long term investors.

However, if they decide to sell directly in market or much lower via crossings , it will be very detrimental to present market sentiments.

Any idea with NEST, CTC, COMB, CLC down about 25 points ( buy DIAL last minute push adding 5 points ) how SL20 index is down only 3 points overall !

Never mind,  they corrected SP20 now. 15 points down ( .44%).

If SP20 drops over 1% more, it can go into oversold region ;-).

Guess TAH will also be happy with his "Waves" for a bigger recovery one in the future.

Guess further foreign selling is on cards today . Hope some other foreigner bought though ( even a local foreigner) else our retailer will worry too much.

Use these "red" times wisely. I am mainly addressing investors with holding power ( trader will get plenty of opportunities as well)

No market can be red or green always.

Think I should remind below

"This trend needs to continue upto about 6300-6500 taking small breaks in the middle ( so don't panic for red days). There will be resistance at around 6200 I presume if not sooner next week. We don't want to fall into a psyc trap as mentioned in the above thread if you read. If most hold their positions , prices of shares are only going to go up. This short term selling "cycle" needs to break for all to see better times at CSE. Did you see what happened at UAE and JAPAN last year. Dubai might not forget 2013 in a hurry . "

Thanks SLS. As you have highlighted it is very important the investors not be panic. anyway if you are an investor you shouldn't be worry about day-to-day fluctuate. if you know you are holding is worth it's time to study the market and relax. Smile

Dial has to be a foreign sale. I remember this share was Rs 5-6 in 2012 may-june and there was some big buying. If they exited big profits.

Anyway, Main share holder of DIAL need to sell about 300 million share to meet the 20% public float ;-) .
So there might be more crossing to come.

It's TJL today's foreign attraction while DIAL,COMB,JKH following foreign outflow.

It's amazing how foreign dump COMB during past period, actually i don't see it is as a dumping counter for an investor  Very Happy

For Dial, it's minimum public float should be 10% as i know.

Pls see SEC ruling below:

1. a) A Listed Entity on the Main Board shall maintain,

i. a minimum public holding of 20% of its total listed ordinary voting shares in the hands of a minimum of 750 public shareholders; or

ii. a market capitalization of Rupees 5 Billion of its public holding in the hands of a minimum of 500 public shareholders while maintaining a minimum public holding of 10%.

Actually most of today big company results for Dec are not bad.

CFIN, AHUN, SPEN, CTC, UML , Soft Capital all did well.

RHL, is showing big growth but they have to cut their costs which is effecting bigger profits.

Yeah results are good. What I see is panic due to foreign selling more than Geneva. Tapering is not the end of the world and selling all and hoping for a crash to buy again does not make sense when results are good. Tapering will soon be factored in to the share price.

Feb 11th,

ASI closed in marginal Green some how! It kind of justified as today was balanced day with some shares going up.

SP20 is  also slowly heading towards  oversold region.

JKH and COMB selling is dragging the whole market down more than any fundamental reason.

Problem is we don't know how much more selling of JKH /COMB  will happen and what price. Logic says who ever might not sell JKH much below Rs 220 ( Janus bought JKH at around Rs 190 before the right issue. Also rights were at Rs 175. So if they want to exit lower they can which is a concern).

COMB why selling below Rs 120 ( with a dividend coming )

Technically JKH is nearing oversold also.

But techincals  will be challenged as long as someone big wants to exit like this.

However, there are some positives today amongst the negatives.
Also note the world market been up while CSE is going down;-)

My gut feeling is market should be atleast up for short term sooner than later.

Foreign seller: If you want to sell,  please find buyers and do it  and get it over with soon.

Day by day, little by little dragging JKH down to sell, is killing the whole market which other wise was heading / behaving very well !

Do they hv annoy more plan.....

Ther might hv another plan/link with previous BIG LOT of JKH...
That's ........... TWICE larger LOT of JKH might have in queue change hand at lower level...between the same parties........

Geneva is mainly an elections propaganda tool that seems to be working among the rurals but not so on the urbanites. The outcome will be a few more strictures on the govt and nothing much more. All concerned other than the LTTE rump has other urgent business to attend to.
