VONE -
EPS - 0.18 (quarter)
NAV - 25.66

One of DP's favorite share, VONE looks like neglected share now. I think people who into shares where others neglected are the winners when times comes.

Not a promotion. Based on the facts given above and below, I honestly think VONE is a good share to invest in mid term.

Business model (banking / finance , leisure and manufacturing )
It controls:
L B Finance PLC
Royal Ceramics Lanka PLC group
Greener Waters Ltd.

Company holds a 14.99% stake in Sampath Bank PLC

refer: site website: http://www.vallibelone.com/

(I hold VONE and still collecting @ 17 levels)

VONE seems to sleep for a while and let it be. So we can slowly collect it. As you mentioned its a good share and it holds many good firms

Thanks sriranga, is there a way that we can see the list companies in a particular sector with PER/PBV values?

Thanks Shri for your help. Kalum, as you correctly pointed out you have to compare this figure with individual PERs of companies. Then only you can select the best company with the lowest PER.

Doesn't the current share price reflect all these, publicly available information  ?
I think that's the basis of "market price ".

I doubt that statement. Share price below NAV = fair price? Well i'm not much expert in CSE. but what i have is discipline over a decade in CSE. Per my understand, these shares will adjust someday. However yes, there are undervalue shares than VONE.

Not strictly about VONE, but many good shares including VONE,

I have noted in past couple of years. Globally some developed companies like to invest their money on others than re-invest in their own business. These companies have vision, (like google, microsoft, etc:) that they are hunting for new ideas and ways to grow. They found virtual diversified on their own way. Sri Lanka also having the same trend. Even most of early 2009 investors lost the faith over stock market bubble, what i can see is steady growth in past 2 years. I honestly think most of these companies are not yet trading for fair price.
