im studying kumar's research report of ct.

there i have noticed considerable down trend for CIC - 75.27 Mn lost reported in 2013/14.

can anyone share more details regarding this?

this makes cash per share (97.94 )
however the NAV increased to 81.09

further, when i refer the CIC quarter report @ cse,(Quarterly Financial Report as of 30-06-2013),
there, NAV is 43.92 , loss is 158.10 Mn !

can kuamr or some one please explain the situation in detail. these figures made me confuse.

CIC an attractive long term share.

Look at Group performance and not company itself for all calculations.

CIC having some serious cash issues thanks to subsidy money they have not received yet. They are in some major debt specially due to that which makes their finance cost massive ( 531 million for June) .

Until such time they get their money back and reduce these massive loans their profits are going to be hurt big time.

Price of CIC have come down to reflect ( over reflect ) this issue.

However CIC is a strong company with very good long term potential. There NAV is 97 and now trading 60% of NAV.

At some point CIC might think going for a Debenture or maybe a right issue ( by history they don;t go for right issues much but who know this time )

Thanks SLS. As always informative. I too feel like price reflection is unfair. Hope CIC solve this issues sooner than later. Smile
