More than what we think are affected but come elections and they forget all and remember winning the war and Galle Expressway only.

Time to let someone else manage if they can't do the job. ( am not saying to sell the Air line completely).
The notion of every country must have its own flagship airline is a old school thinking no longer applies in these times.
If Air France can be run by KLM, then why not Sri Lanka is managed by someone like Singapore Airlines, for instance.
Btw, wonder how much the lease of an Aircraft per year is?
There is a glut in the Aircraft market and if you are wise, you can come out with a great bargain, even with a wet lease agreement.
But when we go there, they are only calculating the Commissions that they can get out of those deals only.
