I need your help, especially from senior members like, slstock,chinwi and others.

I have, rs. 600,000 at my disposal, what shares are good to invest in for long term, for 3-4 years, below rs.30
Thinking of, buying for 200,000 each of,
AEL
PLC
TJL

any other suggestion, so that i could change my idea.

Your pics are really good... Also touch a lil on JKH warrants, wait for the price to mark bottoms and buy with uptrend.

Wait till the end of March to see the market direction. The following factors will play a significant role in deciding the market direction.
a) Continuous foreign selling
b) UN Human rights summit and sanctions
c) Local election

Probably, YES for TJL , but NO for AEL, PLC.

Why, price below 30/- ?

With all due respect, i tend to disagree with you about AEL, PLC as these 2 stocks have been recommended by many analysts/brokers.
Reason for below 30 is simply i could buy more shares,and looking at long term, could double the value in 3-5 years time.

keep in cash position . That is the luxury of the day. wait until up signs. Then buy shares that qualify a criteria

Mkt price to book value below 1.5
pe below 15
Highest dividend payout ratio
EPS and DPS

top 20 without slash accounts or margin accounts

Then pick shares that qualify above

What you have already picked are there but chek with above criteria when you want to buy

I agree with you......, probably, my opinion is not that respectable, and contrary to the "conventional wisdom ".
Nevertheless , when these analysts/brokers recommended, did you ever inquired the basis of their opinion and are you also satisfied with that reasoning ?

Reason for below 30.......
Does your concern is number of shares you can buy from the fixed investment OR return on your investment ?
Bit surprised about the thinking, that shares below 30/- have more chance of doubling the valve in 3-5 years time.

My thinking is,
if u make right calculations, number of shares, do really matter.
For instance, u buy JKH @215 now, and the prediction is that it can go up to 350 in 2-5 years time.
but if u buy a progressive, share on the Uptrend for rs.14 now, you
could,emphasis on "could" gain ROR, 3 to 4 times, in value. in 3-5 years time.
