Sri Lanka Equity Forum has decided to invite 3 New Members to be a part of the Regular discussions in this forum. Names of these 3 Members are as follows:

Mr Positive
Mr Neutral
Mr Negative

* Above names may be subject to change based on Members discretion.

These 3 members will participate in forum discussions and would provide positive, negative and neutral factors relating to overall market and respective stocks which will allow forum members to take informed decisions with regard to overall market as well as individual stocks without being subjected to any promotions within the forum.

Any member who wish to take up any of this role please let us know. We require reasonable number of applicants for theses position hence interested parties may apply. This position carry remuneration based on quality of the arguments and other factors solely decided by the SLEF Management.

Once upon a time an old man found that the children who play cricket in his garden as trouble makers. He wanted to get rid children playing cricket in his garden. He did everything possible to prevent that... scattered thorns, broken glasses etc. But children cleared everything and played cricket.

One day he came with a nice suggestion to the children. He went to the children and said "MY YOUNG ONES you are the only happiness to me. my children are grown up and migrated. When i see you playing I remember their childhood.
So what will i do...from today onward I will pay you..." and when the children finished playing he gave every boy Rs 100.00 The children were astonished and ate ice creams and next morning they came early in the morning . They were more motivated.

For three more days this system continued. ON the fourth day old man approached the children early in the morning. " DEAR Boys I want to tell you something. My children have not sent me money so far. So I want be able to give you Rs 100 today.. But I will pay you half of that. " Children got demotivated and they finished playing at noon and collected money. This situation continued for three more days. Thus half day playing was there.

Next day our old man said to the children "SORRY LITTLE ONES... today I will not be able to pay you.. " Children immediately went out and never again came to play...

DONT ASSIGN MONETARY VALUE TO VOLUNTARILY SERVICES.

To have a proper balance GMNet should conduct 3 separate elections for these 3 positions.
We have so many suitable people for these positions in the forum.

I agree with 'yellow knife.' This forum has been and will be on voluntary contributions. By adding a monetary value you will be devaluing the importance of the forum and demoralizing the members who are contributing voluntarily.

I dont know how is this going to work.These +ve, -ve things comes with several factors. I don't think we can label someone is +ve or _ve. Even we ourshelves feel negativity and positivity depends on the environment.I don't believe it is a permenant thing.
Above all what we need is Constructive arguments.If these were to categorised we probably end up with very boring treads.We need spice on those threads but the mludslinging.
