Hi Guys,
I've been looking through the Financials of the company and looks very undervalued and also in the booming construction industry. Spoke to a few friends inside the company and they were all very positive about the company's future earnings as well.

Would love to hear your thoughts on it...

They have a power project in North, which is a good income owner, they also have some construction projects specially apartments for shanty owners relocation and some other government projects are done by MTD Walkers. Some government influence are also there in the company.

But company according to employees doesn't pay salaries in time and does not pay a good payscale according to market rate so good calibre people has been going in and out.

PE is around 6.78 with historical earnings.
NAV is Rs.41.
Market Price Rs.30

March quarter earning are expected to be quite good.

Can we expect any movement in the counter? There has been some good volumes trading in recent days too.

Hi Guys,

I did some research on MTD walkers and this is what I could find

97% YOY increase in profit.
P.E-6.78
PBV-0.75

The company is diversifying into shipbuilding, Power Generation.

Construction order book is full.

Cheaper in terms of PE and PBV compared to other construction companies such as AEL.

90% Foreign owned.

Illiquid in comparison to sector companies increasing possibility of Higher Capital gain returns.

This company needs lot of funding and owners are willing to exit at a profit. This company was bought by the current owners (MTD Capital Bhd) from Gamini Fonseka and the clan for a price of Rs 125 mn about 10 years ago. How much do you think it is worth now??

No dividend declaration so far. But worth to capital gain... One of their subsidiary CML MTD also performing good at this time.
