World's largest alleged stock market manipulator who is in Jail, Raj Rajaratnam once had over US $ 130 million in Sri Lanka and he sold all his stakes to Sri Lankan government controlled banks, EPF, ETF and some private top investors at the end of 2009 prior to going to jail in USA.

According to some Raj once gave a B'Day Bash to top Sri Lankan corporate executives and some politicos at his Manhattan house in which he booked an entire flight (including transit) from Sri Lanka to USA.

However sources outline Raj valued his investment in JKH and John Keells Holdings (JKH) had so much to do with Raj along with some Tsunami houses and some top executives who lead Colombo Stock Exchange is said to be nourished under Raj's Galleon Fund.

Economic experts from John Keells board tells that one guy whose fahter was a former John Keells Chairman and the son who is now heading CSE, John Keells Capital and eyeing to be the John Keells next Chairman first started his career as an intern at Galleon Fund under guidance of Raj Rajaratnam before entering in to  UBS Warburg.

"He may have same style, if you nourished and learned under a manipulator, you will do the same again" a top economist from John Keells group said while having a sip of a drink at a cocktail.

"That is why he offered a CSE Restructuring Plan for Rs.150 million fee to McKinsey a firm once headed by Rajat Gupta who was also brought in to courts and jailed for Insider Trading with Raj" a SEC official who was having a small smoke told on the sidelines of a cocktail party organized Cocktail Circles few weeks ago.
