Well, I have no problem.

I screen and monitor only 'Fundamentally strong' shares. No matter what happen to 'junkies' I never look at them. It makes my life very easy.

People who invest 70-80% in fundamental blue chips and trading 20-30% in illiquid high gain high risk stocks.

CSE is no longer a purely blue chip pick-up market. So better to face practical real situation in CSE

When the illiquids start falling the situation is going to be very ugly. I wouldn't be surprised if suicide rate goes up.

Illiquid shares are not bad shares, per se, except that there is lower demand and supply.

There are at least 2 reasons why people buy shares - to resell or to hold. If you are a 'holder', it doesn't really matter that trading levels are low.

Just to give you an example, my Dad has owned some shares of a certain company since the 1970s. The company is doing alright, Dad gets a regular dividend and nobody gets stressed out about the fact that it is illiquid.

In the long run, the winner will be the person who identifies and invests in companies with long-term growth potential.

yes, when there is an overall growth all types of shares can improve. To sustain growth, banking and finance sector shares, diversified, blue chips, plantations, hotels and tourism, ports and all sectors need to demonstrate a gradual growth. Then only investors show an interest on the stock market. In a growing market small cap, illiquid shares, large cap and highly liquid shares all can improve. Concept of some shares to go up does not sustain, at the end fundamentals need to be present. Most of the corporate financials reports seem to come out good. If there is an overall growth next week all sectors can attract more and more investments.
