The Court of Appeal has dismissed the writ application submitted by the depositors of Central Investments and Finance Plc (CIFL) last week.
The writ application was for a stay order against two conditions of the company restructuring proposal.
Following the dismissal, the stay order imposed on the implementation of the restructuring plan submitted by the Managing Agents with the approval of the Board of Directors and approved by Monetary Board in August 2013 was removed effective immediately.

Nearly 16M shares changed hands today... Very Happy

CIFL will get money from Liquidity Support Scheme (LSS) for any licensed finance company (LFC) If this happens quick it will give more than 200% within a week or so. Keep in mind there will be a convertion of some deposits to non voting so obviously will not be done at current prices. Non voting shares will come at less than the voting so the prices will be pushed up. Thats what I think.

talked with several brokers and all are very positive on this. big big collection going on.

ASIA sec and First capital brokers told this will hit 1.70 today. they strongly recommend to buy.

maximum price is 1.50
but i'm just exit at 1.40..
