According to commodity analysts grain prices will fall further during account period of 2014/2015. Therefore poultry sector is going to benefit lot. As Yields are coming in above expectations the global funds are shorting the bean market and maize market now. Some funds have just gone net short for the first time in over four years. There is lot of short positions in the bean market and corn market. Grain prices went up partly due to over speculation and derivative activities and grain prices are adjusting to the correct prices now. This is a very good news for meat producers. Good luck!

See the news published in Sunday Times on 5th Oct. 2014 under the caption of "2015 Sri Lankan Budget bag-full of election goodies"

" Under the initiative of protecting local producers and promoting import substitution, the commodity levy and cess on essential items, including maize, onions, potatoes and dairy products will be increased. Concessions will also be provided to improve the poultry industry encouraging exports."

Good news to poultry sector..Isn't it???

Great. I"ll trade on it. last time I traded with BFL from 11o to 550.TAFL 30 TO 250.GRAN 28 TO 245.And to be fair over traded & lost some money too.so I am ready for the ride.
