We know at some point of time Interstst rates will increase, but not right now as CBSL is yet to see the desired results from the banks.
Political stability is their, either UNP or PA make no difference to their policies. Whilst a UNP government will deffa bring new Highs to the ASI and Market.Similar to Ragu of Fed Chief to India brought exuberant to Indian Market.
Investors are of Mis feelings whether to go with UNP or PA as at this moment due to Uva Results.
I think market will go into a cool off period with possible Budget proposals in October.

Hi SHARK HOW U BEEN u'v been very quiet...thanks for the explanation and hope it is a logical question to ask for future sake...coz i know some of my friends lost almost everything last time the bubble burst..better to be cautious..as i am not an expert..i would not give an explanation to this matter other than getting it from our senior members.like u and NC and .....ETC Very Happy

Here's an intraday look of ASI, (A microscope look Very Happy

) it did some corrections.. will see in next week whether the last black support line can be broken or not.. if not there's a nice HPP which will create a double top (7280) on Intraday chart... Very Happy

Unrest among the voters fired by selfish politicians will start as presidential election campaign begins. It will be a tit for tat or tooth to tooth competition leading to chaos in public. Foreign investors are keen on serious political issues together with upcoming human council meetings. Though economic indicators flag up the rosy picture, sooner or later stage overbought market has to be re-adjusted. Also, many believe that more oxygen encouraging & benefiting the investors/exporters with possible early budget proposals maintain the stability of capital market. So, combination of many factors decides the positive or negative side of the market before blowing the whistle.
