Of course yes, if you are in a professional setting and given a loss limit or something like that, though I suspect there will not be much you could do. But would it continue? I very much doubt it... and here is why:
Interest rates are coming down even further....CBSL asked all banks in its pawning insurance scheme to reduce rates by 3% (15%to 12%). That is pawning which is the most common form of borrowing for anybody on the street is 12%. Risk free returns for banks could be argued at around 5% (SDF). Cost of capital in valuing equity is further dropping... So equity should gain not loose...
One reason why cse is dropping is COMB, HNB, DFCC all with Mcap of over 60 b have dropped by over 4-5%
Why should SINI or CIC should drop over 7% could only be explianed by pure panic... and if you are smart, when there is blood on the street you will buy solid stocks.. and hold it till a good day...
