PABC going to take over the LFIN and Merge.

There is some information news from Banks.

Samp, PABC, LFIN and VFIN owned by Mr. Dammika Perera.. I believe there will be merger with in his group. Like gainer said there is a possibility that PABC and LFIN will be merged. Mr. Nimal Perera was continuously buying PABC and LFIN. I think he is one of the directors in LFIN and PABC. PABC up today with considerable volume. If LFIN and PABC get merged, There is a huge possibility for PABC price to appreciate considerably being the weakest of 2 counters.On the other hand Mr. SB Rangamuwa was continuously buying VFIN. He is also the managing director of VFIN. If VFIN and SAMP get merged, there is a huge possibility that VFIN will have a run being the weakest of 2 counters.. This is only my idea. Other ideas are welcome.

PABC another major bank in sri lanka.

PABC if takeover the LFIN then good for PABC.

PABC today traded more than 1.2 Million shares.

PABC within short term target price 35.00 and this week possible 30.00

May be it's possible can merge then PABC will up

However DP will do some thing for PABC and bring up the share price.

Something will happen this week,

once it was AAF buying something, then UBC buying Seylan, then now SAMP with Vfin....I was thinking according to these mergers which we have heard of and one financial institute buying another financial institute stories that we have heard of, there should be only one Bank today and one financial institute in SRI LANKA isn't it?
I HOPE THAT NO ONE WILL MERGE OR BUY THE CENTRAL BANK FINALLY. According to the way these mergers are going to take place....
I heard China is going to merge with sri lanka too in future...Better look for some chinese shares now itself..

Last week according to brokers, Nimal had picked up 2 million shares of Soflogic Holdings as well as 4 million of Softlogic Capital apart from collecting further of Pan Asia Bank, in which he is the Chairman.

Do you think that DP will slaughter LFIN like this.

LFIN is the real cash cow for DP whereas PABC is a low performing bank. LFIN one of the leading finance companies in SL. If taken over by PABC it will be a bank and will lose it's profitability.

LFIN charges higher interest rates through gold loans and leasing. If merged with PABC they will become a bank and can't charge higher rates. DP will not make such a move I guess.

There is a possibility SAMP taking over VFIN. If it happens it's a great news for all VFIN shareholders.

Be aware of PABC. If this is true then PABC will go for a rights issue since they don't have huge funds to acquire LFIN.
