I think the market will take Cross overs from the government to opposition positively in the future.

In Sri Lanka what we didn't have for a decade was a strong opposition but now the things are changing. Investors, corporates and the public would like to see good governance, media freedom and less interference to their businesses and a business friendly government.

As the opposition getting stronger and stronger day by day the aspirations of the local and foreign investors would be fulfilled in the future.

We can see market going up from December when government ministers cross over to the opposition.

After wining war MR could have done this.

But they give preference to family Development rather than the country

Will there be a strong opposition government?
How can they create a strong government. Everybody will ask their portion. They will create 100 of cabinet ministers.
Without strong leadership, ministers will do whatever they want without considering national policy.
The country will be in chaos situation. Political un-stability will be the key topic and LTTE will try to resurrect with this political un-stability period.
If someone says MR government did only 'family development', we should study that new economic theory. Because of 'Rajapaksha Family development' our inflation is very low, 4000$ per captia income achieved well ahead of the target and economic growth rate wll above 7 and infrastructure in full swing development path.
So, I think this guy MR has a very big family.
