Petrol is cheaper than water in saudi arabia 3 litre of petrol equal to 1 litre of water there. Its amazing how much profitable business is oil industry. This is one of the lowest cost of living country in the world. They dont charge taxes for consuming products.Imagine how much we are paying taxes on our goods even tax on taxes.

On KSA King is ruling the country for years but in Sri Lanka MR only ruling around 10 years see how he increased the taxes. See how much is the petrol L on 2005 and now

Amazingly, people do not convince themselves the heavy burden of tax levied on each & every product being consumed. Just look at your utility bills to see the amount of taxes charged in different names. In developed countries taxes are being used to improve social welfare & development projects. Time has come to see ourselves now, where billions of tax income collected gone. Do we have the right to access such information from reliable source. Do we enjoy the principles of governance, accountability & transparency. If yes, we are nothing short of happiness & prosperity among developed nations.
