These two counters had been the major subject over months in the past. Many had supported with admiring numbers highlighting high chance of having short term profits taking. Unfortunately, counters did not come up to that level how a series of threads promoted both.

rate change in the sense, rates are going up or down??? positive impact on these shares or negative????

I'm not promoting ESL and I know lot of threads have gone around about ESL and CFVF. But I just want to know below digits and impact on ESL... Please advice

The impact on interest rates depend on the new provisional budget to be presented to the parliament. That budget has to ensure unnecessary expenses being cut off & impose higher taxes on high income earners. The CBSL will not in need of extra borrowing other that maintaining current borrowing positions at least, the interest rates can be maintained at current levels.

But please note in the last Qtr (Sept-Dec)the bond market had moved up a bit. Therefore 3rd Qtr results of PD's can't be great.

As i said If CFVF pays a dividend it has to be after Jan.15. But uncertainty prevails it will be delayed further.
