Despite initial rally in the current major uptrend still there are value sectors and plenty of value stocks in the market. After recent sell-off we can see more value opportunities in selected sectors and stocks in the market. Is it wise to buy after general election or before the general election? Which value sectors will have more potential in the remaining stages of current major uptrend?

Thank you for the reply and stocks. Even if we see less than expected earnings in one or two quarters due to short term issues still some companies could have value due to one year earnings. In addition their forward earnings also could improve. Besides this is not a bear market and it is one of the major up trends in stock markets. How about allocating some fund to defensive sectors? Those are the sectors that will lead market during remaining stages of current major uptrend. How about applying strategy to pick stocks and sectors trading below the market P/E? How about rotating stocks and sectors from higher P/E sectors/stocks to low P/E sectors/ stocks? Good luck!

PARQ is a undervalued hidden gem in CSE. Currently it is trading below 5 PER. Same Aluminium Sector Alumex is trading at 10 of PER. So, compaire to Alumex, PARQ is massively undervalued.
PARQ possible to earn EPS 9.0 for this 2015 end financial year. I expect more than 3.5 EPS from last quarter.
So, Valuation 9 EPS X 8 PER = Rs.72/-

Focus on manufacturing sector stocks. Lot of companies with high potential. I shared the valuations on Chevron, ACL and KCAB already. ps go through them. Happy trading. Cool

Lower oil and gas prices should show in the next quarterly reports .This should improve bottom lines of many sectors such as transportation, food and beverages, production, hotels and plantation companies. In addition power and agriculture output also should improve gradually. It is also time to analyse future earnings of neglected companies. What are the companies going to have business growth? What are the companies can have better cost control? What are the companies will benefit from lower raw materials due to increased production locally? What types of tea companies will benefit lot in the coming months and quarters? What are the companies and sectors going to benefit lot due to increased crop production and increased tourist numbers?
