RPPA is not in this forum now. Anyway experts please comment on this. I am also stuck with this. Just want to know the impact from changes. Will it go down further or not. 25th it came down to 40.

Looking at the fundamentals nothing wrong with the stock. The reason for the drop was due to bit of upward interest rate movements in the last few T/bill Auctions.
Actually that is because the new regime is not influencing the EPF,ETF & other Government banks to quote low. But the previous Government has influenced those organisations & to maintain the T/Bill auctions at the rates the Government wants. But the things will settle down over time.

Therefore some panic investors had sold out after dividends. I am also holding on. But when it comes to Bond market it is not that bad. That is where the most chunk of profits comes from. Very Happy

Bond market trading cannot benefit CFVF at this time becos interest rates are low. You can only make money from the bond market when interest rates are falling. CFVF locked into bonds at around 18% and they made lot of money when interest rates fell to 5%. So CFVF times are over unless they have used the huge profit they made to invest in sustainable investments. I made good money from this share and I would not want to invest in CFVF unless interest rates start falling again.

The problem with MEL is that it still runs at a loss when all the other power generating companies are performing well.

So i doubt it will have a run soon. But you better exit even @ 7/- & recover the loss from some other stock.

RPPA well come back. can you provide an idea about what Quibit said. Yes of course they have gained huge profits and the lowest P/E ratio in the market is CFVF. But will it move forward due to the prevailing interest rates as Quibit said.

PAP @ 3.50 is ok. But please note the current Qtr is dry season for these Hydro power generating companies. So their performance can be low.
