Speculation is on the rife that Colombo Hilton Hotel (a hotel owned by Listed company - shares trading halted - Hotel Developers PLC - a company under the ownership Sri Lanka's government treasury now) is being marketed as a Deal by Ms.Padma Maharaja the Driving Woman behind the Sirsa TV/Shakthi TV/ MTV' group.
According to insiders from Maharaja Broadcasting Corporation Padma who was recently appointed to Hilton Colombo Board is now eyeing to make a Deal with India's NDTV group's owners Radhika Roy and Prannoy Roy or with India's Delta Casinos to sell over 27% stake of Hilton Colombo.
Ravi Karunanayake has asked for a 'Kick Back' of over Rs.10 million and free Publicity for his businesses and his political career and Public Image positioning of Ravi Karunanayake via Shakthi FM/TV, Sirasa FM/TV, YesFM/YFM.
