He said few finance companies who underwent financial crisis and still recovering, will not meet the deadline set by the Bank.
Meanwhile, a statement from the Central Bank announced that already 15 firms have listed while another 4 more RFCs have received CSE approval.
The Bank also added “Applications of other RFCs are being reviewed by the CSE”.
Most of the RFCs are listing their firms as a way of an introduction which means those entities are not raising funds out of share issues.
Sri Lanka altogether has 36 Registered Finance Firms.
