ADAM IS THERE,....dont think even. The best manipulator. Micro finance is a good concept. COCR,BLI Mostly success with this business. Even Kanrich finance achieved their micro finance loan target to 3.2 billion. The effective interest rate stands 28-44%. its a really good earning. Company grants a loan just for a short period only. But recovering weekly or monthy basis while The loan can be approved with out any collateral just need to sign each others as guarantors from same community. But in sri lanka most of companies are trying to away from this type of loans in recent preset . COCR,Peoples leasing also put less weight for this segment not like before. So far there is no proper directives for micro finance companies in sri lanka. I personally know one of a villages stop to repay their loans but company couldnt do any thing for recover so far. Nation lanka micro finance also started with a big voice but going to vanish at the moment of repayment issues. Those people gave more loans to farmers but couldnt recover less price of rubber,tea,etc. The best example for CIFL micro finance... they gave than 20 million loans to polonnaruwa farmers in 3-4 years ago. But almost couldnt recover these amount due to drought. When it comes to PCHH,Adam scenario, those directors are very greedy to acquire a business even they know or not the nature of business. I know one of the directors there who has the same attitude. Start any thing with out knowing trends...how ever they have some funds to utilise this purpose but heart is not good of.these people. Try to earn money by putting others in traps. CSF & ANILANA also the same. As investors we should know these things. Matured investors are really hating.these scraps. Good luck.
