May 06, 2015 (LBO) – Sri Lanka's Treasury bill yields were down at Wednesday’s auction with the 12-month yield dropping 04 basis points to 6.35 per cent, data from the state debt office showed.
It was decided to accept 10,762 million rupees from the auction of 12 month yield.
Data showed that 6-month yield was down, six basis points to 6.26 per cent and 12,488 million rupees were accepted from 29,788 million rupees worth bills.
Treasury bills of 3,000 million rupees for 3 months, 7,000 million rupees for six months and 15,000 million rupees for twelve months were offered on an auction basis today with issue date on 08 May 2015.
The auction was oversubscribed with bids amounting to 77,111 million rupees being received.
It was decided to accept 32,256 million rupees from the auction.
The debt office offered 3-month short term bills for the auction at 6.12 per cent and 9,006 million rupees were accepted from 19,061 million rupees worth bills.
