here is the news
http://www.ft.lk/2011/05/24/colombo-%E2%80%98land-like-no-other%E2%80%99/

http://www.cse.lk/cmt/upload_report_file/684_1307010391783.pdf - According to this on 20th May they Bought 19,987,400/= shares at 20 each and today they bought 20,351,200 shares at 44 each

Its getting interested - http://www.cse.lk/cmt/upload_cse_announcements/6101307078413_.pdf
Imagewise sold 14 million shares. In the mean time Kalpitiya Beach Resort purchased 20 million shares on the same day. What does it mean?. Is it a kind of a transaction to push up the share price. Shocked

This is now becoming a joke. One director has sold at Rs. 44 and a day after that transaction another director has bought at Rs. 51. Where in the world these kind of things happen except CSE?

This is more serious than a Joke my friend, MarketWatch!

I {predict} that eventually LIOC might even be bought up by one of the MEGA players in the market and run at a huge profit. Think of it, what happens if CPC is taken over by Laughs?
You can let your mind run riot on all the possibilities!

Will LIOC still remain a loss making entity?
What will happen to the price controls on petrol / diesel etc?
Shouldn't that be looked after well?

I think I should buy some shares in LIOC if this line of thought is right.

This is not a joke. This is a pure market manipulation. I wouldn't be wonder, even if we get more announcement coming days. Retailer's money is going to billionaire's pocket. I assume, the big guns already earned as much as possible in CLND and now moving to another counter.

I said this is becoming a joke because SEC is so reluctant to take any action to curb this kind of unethical conduct in CSE. How long can they take the retailers on a ride? How can we expect foreigners to return to the market with thes kinds of unethical trasactions taking place all most every day in CSE now?

By the way, you have taken my name wrong, I am not MarketWatch my friend!!!
