Few minutes ago i randomly heard the news on Hiru Fm that latest wage hike talks was failed yesterday also.

Bogawantalawa tea factory manager told that although Tea was auctioned, they cannot supply to demand as workers gone on strike.. Further he states that they are in a risk of failing to supply the orders they got as more than 85,000 Kg of tea remained in the factory as those tea unable to process because workers went on strike. Also he mentioned that there is a risk of Sri lanka loosing orders in international market if this situation continues in coming days.

So I strongly believe this issue has affected setback of current plantation sector prices. Your views on this appreciated.

This reminds me of what market manipulators do (Monash, I don't mean you).
When they want to buy low, bad news are spread all over until they collect enough.
Then, all of a sudden come the sweet news with a jump in the prices and rallies.
They buy low sell high. We sell low buy high! clown
I would name it the 'share market ecosystem life cycle' Idea

Please note that i don't have any intention to make and spread bad news. We have to face reality. This is not what i am telling. This is what BOPL manager tells. I have considerable amount of KOTA in my portfolio still.

Hiru has a reputation for spreading bad news (Remember how they got their license cancelled)

Who knows maybe R. Duminda Silva wanted to enter the plantation sector

In this case Hiru is liable & plantation manager has also gone on record. Both of them can get screwed badly if this is a lie.
