Sri lankas one of the popular name Abans Group  seems really doing   well  .  It took some investors attention   from last week so new trend level started, that’s the reason it  made my attention  to  do some office works.  While feeding all the necessary 49  basic inputs in PV  graph  which sets ABANS  magical figure to Rs. 192 With in a very short time,even  if it trades another 61 ,000 shares may possible to  lead Rs. 151.50 definitely   at any time . The group has EPS of 16.80 in 14/15 FY and 15/16 FY possible to pass 27.50, while  The group has invested 58 million in Fixed deposit approximately those will add to 1 rupee to EPS with out having any effort. Unbelievably     Retained earnings has increased to amazingly   RS.515,737,719/- which is 100 rupees per 1 share. High disposable income with low interset rate and much government and public sector credit and world trend of innovative producut market will add 15% YOY growth to ABANS.

Turnover     20113/2014 Rs.3,205.8 mn, 2014/15 Rs.2,731.6 mn
Earning per share   2011/12 Rs.1 4.65  ,  2012/13 Rs.5.11  , 2013/14  Rs. 1 9.63, 2014/15 Rs.16.80
Net Value per share      2011/12 Rs.  100.96   , 2012/13 Rs.   107.83     2013/14 Rs.124.61,2014/15 Rs.137.87
Price earning ratio  2011/12   10.78  2012/13  3.57     2013/14 5.05, 2014/15 5.75, its unbelievable and amazing and this PE ratio at least should increase to 12 times as world trading standars in this particular industry so share price should adjust 310/minimum by end of this year. How ever this based on high value of forcasted earning,month of august regular dividend and 30% of less public holding can drive this share to150 plus this week. Reusults guaranty rate bios to 89% based on graphs.

Of course. Turn over will increase quarter by quarter. Do you know why?  day by day selling price will be higher due to many reasons. It may be exchange rate, inflation, higher selling prices of latest innovative products. as an example previously ordinary mobile phone  was 5,000_10,000 but now 25,000 /-. the same scenario just apply a Tv Too, now no more traditional tvs. (Lcd,plasma,led,3D) and  main important thing is ABANs has increased its product range by 200%. they sell scootees,laptops,mobile phones and many more. So definitely turn over growth will be there. I hope the highest Eps figure in this quartery results. Wait and see. Finally  I am so honest to recommend ABAN with out having any share. But ill buy when market opens.:-)

Actually agree with you yahapalana. But now the trend is different not like 2012/2013. Sri lankas new genaration are willing to use more innovative products a recent research reaveled. High disposable income,high job occupancy,social network trend, credit card usage,boom in tourism are the latest trend to support ABANS. Abans has only authorized dealerships to sale products in sri lanka for some prestiges brands in the world. Abans is going to enter construction,leisure industry as well. So they will post 20 plus EPS very easily in coming quarters.

There is only one thing stronger than all the armies of the world: and that is an idea whose time has come." - Victor Hugo.

A humble idea took shape in the 1970s, an era when Sri Lanka was isolated in a closed economy. Sri Lankan citizens could only yearn for electronic appliances but never own them, as all foreign imports were banned. An enterprising homemaker, stymied by the lack of access to domestic electronic appliances in the country, and empathizing with others of her ilk, hit upon an idea. Trusting her intuition, she coaxed foreign expatriates leaving Sri Lanka to sell her their used kitchen appliances and scoured auctions for washing machines, grinders, ovens and other convenience gadgets. Once ensconced in her modest workshop cum office, she serviced and spruced up the gadgets and apprehensively put them up for sale, that too, with a guarantee! Then, she sat back and waited to see if her idea would fly. And fly, it did.

Soon enough, the principles of demand and supply blurred as the products flew off her shelves in the blink of an eye. Armed simply with empathy and a never-say-die approach, she single-handedly put back smiles on the faces of wives and mothers around the country. That was not all, though. Have you check Electronics Equipment prices on both shops.

ABANS prices are cheaper-than SINGER. ABANS looking more business less profits. this is best approach to make more money

when we buying stocks we are looking at these factors on ground level.

Abans is maintaining good Eps upto now. So there is no issue at all in past history. We talk about its development right now. After restructructing with new directors the group has enter to diversifying mode. They have enough cash, enough good will for that. There is no reason at all to drop the revenue in coming years. Profitability will increase and current year EPS can jump upto 28 plus. I have seen really fantastic PV chart with ABANS. This may be the last chance to buy in these levels. I trust PV graph most and very bullish with Abans & AAIC now.

More on ABANS

The budding entrepreneur hadunknowingly set in motion a chain of events that would gather strength and speed over the decades to culminate in one of the most respected and diversified business empires in Sri Lanka – ABANS The budding entrepreneur of the 1970s is today's highly respected captain of industry and one of the most successful businesspersons in the country, Aban Pestonjee. She strides tall in the corporate history of the country and now presides over the Abans Group of Companies, a large diversified entity that is throbbing with energy and dynamism decades on. Considered one of the most successful entrepreneurs the country has known, she has nurtured the group of companies from a small operation into a mega business empire with 13,500 employees today.

The story of the rise of the Abans empire is one of innovation, willingness to take risks, courage of conviction, ethical operations and personalized customer care. Abans today, is run with pride and dedication by Aban Pestonjee and her family, along with a team of industry-best professionals who strive to keep the legendary business as vibrant as it was when it commenced operations in 1970s. Built brick by brick, one step at a time, Abans is the result of one womans' dream and the contribution of her family and employees to make it real.

"Abans started business in 1968 as a little corner shop. Today it stands tall in a majestic multi storeyed building in Colombo's main thoroughfare and employs a dedicated and committed work force of over 4000".
Mrs. Aban Pestonjee - Chairperson
Aban Pestonjee, the chairperson and founder of the Abans! group of companies and known as one of the first entrepreneurs who initiated in first bringing Korean technology to Sri Lankan consumers.
Fair enough.I am not against ABAN.It has got small quantity of shares.This counter could rise easily.

Yahaplanaya You Should face to reality. I hope this quarter high performance from SINGER and ABANS

bcz nature of sri lankan people. if they got money they like to buy Phone, laptops.Kitchen Equipments etc....

we can expect good result for this quarter (that is Logical)
People buying power increased with salary increment and commodity price reduction plus election gifts.Generally speaking,electronics sales should increase.But ABAN didn't show growth what REGI done.
Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Have you check Electronics Equipment prices on both shops.

ABANS prices are cheaper-than SINGER. ABANS looking more business less profits. this is best approach to make more money

when we buying stocks we are looking at these factors on ground level.
Cheap prices may be the reason for less Revenue!
Anyhow good luck for improved coming quaters!
Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Gents as i said earlier, ABAN has proved its great potential. Who ever trusted us are real winners. I did more home works and predict the share price by using my amazing charts and fundemental techniques. So ABAN is middle of the journey but who ever missed it no  need to worry. We have LHCL Which has a great potential to reach 75/-.  it has proved by my inner and outer charts. BUYING @ below 60/- is really good and safe investment. I recommend this @52/- but surely price will be updated to new levels.

Dont think that im repeating the history but There is another hidden gem in the market. The charts are better than even ABAN and BFL. Thats HDFC. diversify your little profit to HDFC too. 100% Results guaranteed. If you couldnt earn any thing with current rally. Go for HDFC.
HDFC target price with in a month --->110/-

AS I predicted, during last one month of time.
130@ABAN ----->1 Month------->165
140@BFL-------->1 Month----------> 185(tomo) to 237(next week after election)
52@LHCL------->1 month---------->70(only two weeks but with in next 2 weeks)
75@HDFC------>1 Month--------->110

Finally I believe the way of my analysis & i know what to buy and what to sold.
wait and see gents.
