You're right Mr. NZ BOY!
As you said, BFL is going to rise up! According to my Graph Reading, this counter may repeat it's All Time High during the next Bull Market. (Hypothesis:ASPI should jump over by 7800-8000 levels).
Dear NZB, could you please cross this verdict with your chart...?

According to my Graph Reading, BFL may lead others....
(1st Q. EPS: 5.93 + 2nd Q : 9.02) X 2 = 29.9
Amazing! Exp. Annual EPS is 29.9!!
If we put 10 as PER, there will be 299  (29.9 X 10)
Dear V.P, what's your opinion...?
Am I right... or... misguiding others...?

Please follow poultry group including BFL. You will not regret. Lot of stocks will adjust their prices due to their great value and strong outlook. BFL, TAFL and GRAN have attractive valuation and they have strong outlook now.

Good luck

peacockman,

What is this BFL 1Q EPS you have mentioned as Rs5.93. That is the 4Q 2014 EPS of BFL. So that figure is wrong.

BFL has reported Rs9.02 EPS for the 1Q2015.

In a situation like that there annualized EPS should be Rs9.02*4 = Rs36.08.

BFL wil start trading around Rs185 on monday and immediately may run towards Rs200.

Even at Rs200 this gives a PE ratio is

200/36.08 = 5.54 times.

One of most under valued shares in the mkt now.

Really correct mr.Bandara. BFLs new development will give another value added from next quarter. Then CPU will be reduced accordingly. Further fuel and electricity prices drop which is so positive to market.
BFL can pass 400 levels in early 2016.
remember i set my BFL target
140----->185
185----->237
This was my very sooner targets based on graph systems.

No Dear, I'm right!
The EPS of March was 5.93 (The figure is not 4Q 2014)
The current EPS is 9.02
The EPS of the past 6 month is 14.95 (5.93+9.02)
There fore Expecting Annual EPS will be 14.95 X 2 = 29.9
So.. what I've mentioned is correct!
You calculate as, 4 X this quarter... so... that's also another  calculation method and to be correct!
however, I agree with you that, BFL will soar into the sky very soon!
Good Trade! Asap!!

Dear Teller,  when I put 10 as the P/E, the price will be 299 or 300, but we know the P/E of BFL is more than 10 and may be 15 or 20. So... it has more value than now & my graph reading also says that.

I've already mentioned some expecting prices in this site on 02 Aug 2015. Here is the detail:-
1st Qtr EPS  of GRAN    =2.80
1st  Qtr EPS  of TAFL         =3.35
1st  Qtr EPS  of BFL           =5.93

Expecting Annual EPS  of GRAN   =2.80 X 4
                                                       =11.20

Expecting Annual EPS  of TAFL    =3.35 X 4
                                                       =13.40

Expecting Annual EPS  of BFL      =5.93 X 4
                                                      =23.72

Now...
If we put 20 for PE, ( I think 20 is not too big!)

GRAN will be  =11.20  X 20      =  224.00
TAFL will be   =13.40  X 20      =  268.00
BFL will be     =23.72  X 20      =  474.00

TAFL  - Past 6 month EPS : 7.02
           Ex. An. EPS : 7.02 X 2 = 14.04
           Adj. Price may be : 14.04 X 10 = 140
GRAN - P 6 month EPS : 5.39
            Ex. anu EPS : 5.39 X 2 = 10.78
            Adj. Price may be : 10.78 X 10 = 108

My Graph Reading says, there will be an all time high break out in this counters during the next Bull Market. Time will say weather it is right or wrong! wait & see!! Good luck!!!

YOU ARE DEAD WRONG

Hey ...Hey there should be an end to this. Some companies take FY as Dec 31 and some companies take FY as March 31.

BFL FY goes from 01/04/2015 to 31/03/2016.

These are simple things no friend. Why can't you go throught the reports which are in CSE site. It cleary stated that BFL has reported EPS of Rs5.93 in 4Q14.

Now June Q is their Ist Q in their FY15/16.

Now again who is correct?

WHAT? How come that?

peacockman

Then just imagine the Annualized EPS of BFL now.

It is Rs9.02 * 4 = Rs36.08

This is really really under value and should trade above Rs200 for sure. No doubt. Any sales below Rs200 is very cheap and grab it without wasting time and without double thinking.

Of course mr.bandara. BFL can provide a better EPS in coming quarters too. Surely 45-50 /- is possible. In that scenario i cant imagine what will be the price. I feel capitalization reserve, split or higher dividend may be possible & There will be few sellers monday onwards. BFL will break all the barriers. Thx all the members who shared value infos.

Both of you are trying to get expected EPS. So peackman trying to get by last 2 quarter and avarage where as mr banadara expecting this quarter multiple by 4. However ever when company having good potential in comming quaters it seem to be good by evaluateting through current quarter. Is there is any formal guide to get expected EPS as accounting point of view.

Globally egg prices are at record high. In May, Goldman Sachs estimated that U.S. consumers will pay $7.5 billion to $8 billion more this year to buy eggs. On top of that Record beef prices not expected to ease any time soon. Globally oil, milk and gold all are down. But meat is up. There will be great demand for protein products from Indonesia, China to the USA.

If we follow these three companies not only during next three to 11 quarters but also beyond that, then we should be able to get some good ideas about their industry and their individual business. Food stocks are good for all types of situation including during period of uncertainty. These three have great value and strong outlook now.

Have a look at their pattern, behaviour and momentum as well. Each stock can have its own personality as well. I like stocks with strong personality.  It is better to study their bigger picture rather than analysing few quarters. That is where we are going to see some great opportunities.

This is called RFC, RFC stands for Rollling Forcast.
When we prepare a rolling forcast for a particular future period, we have to consider ACTUALS plus FUTURE earnings.
Actual figures always our actual data but future figures we have to calculate with assumptions. when it comes to BFL,the bes, method is
1st quarter acutual + future 3 quarter forcast.
We expect less cost per unit in coming quarters as new projects, less overhead costs as low oil and electricity price reduction in next quarter., high tourist boom and high disposable income
In that scenario BFL can provide a better EPS in coming 3 quarters atleast 10% by QOQ.
So mr.Bandaras way of calculation is better.
Good luck gents

BFL should immediately pass Rs200 levels in order to adjust to its superior results.

TAFL will touch Rs120 levels and GRAN will come closer to Rs80 - Rs90 range tommorow.

Had a glance at the 1Q2015/16 financials of BFL. There is a 25 mn item added to the comprehensive income by way of negative goodwill. Taking away this one-off item, the EPS to be used for annualising should be 7.5.

One basic assumption in annualising this Q EPS is that the raw material price will continue to be low and interest rate will continue at current levels. The moment these factors work negatively, the results can fall short of expectations.

Nevertheless, this is a promising counter.

After sometimes, today BFL had a strong break out. TAFL also had another strong breakout. GARN is also not that bad. It will follow both BFL and TAFL.
