Mahinda Rajapaksha was the best finance minister in sri lanka, though some controversial things happened all the sectors were at ever heist growth level during his time. Now we realizing that when looking at new government activities.

anyone can show the numbers. but reality is different. do you think below middle class had the benefits of mara's economy growth.

by looking back hw Ravi conducted himself for the past 6-8months you have to agree that MR did a better job. Yeah he did some stupid investment such as mattala airport hamabantota cricket ground n convention center over there but FDI was flowing in irrespective of from where it came from. Everyone criticizes MR relationship with China, but those were only country had our back during difficult time.
Last 6months our import expenditure has sky rocketed n export earnings has plummeted. Trade deficit has widened n rupee has devaluated further. What has been the biggest FDI investment brought by UNP?? It was a USD45m INVESTMENT from VW.
Shangrila project alone stands at USD350mn.
Business confidence has plummeted during last 6months due to stupid election based budget which proposed super gain tax. Luckily opposition was strong enough to stand against that. But this tym there's no opposition to stand against the govt stupid action.
