Ideas welcome! Are we going to see breakout in the market sooner than later?

Now market is at the lower range of range bound market and there could be some opportunities again

In the case of JKH there are chances to come down because of the JKH warrant 22 conversion and exercise price being Rs.161.87,Those who received the JKH warrant 22 at zero cost (Those who received the JKH warrant 22 free for JKH right issue subscribed) can afford to sell after JKH warrant 22 conversion above Rs.161.87+1.12% with profit that is below the current market price of JKH between Rs.169~170

After some time both JKH and COMB have some support. They are some of the top blue chips in the market. By studying them we can get better investment decisions in the CSE.

JKH reported an EPS of LKR 1.91 after deducting LKR 1.14bn of change in insurance contract liabilities in Q1 FY 16. The recurring EPS was LKR 2.90. Group EBIT grew 42.6% YoY to LKR 2.06bn with an EBIT margin of 9.8% (Q1 FY 15 – 7%). As expected, CF & R sector contributed the highest to both, group EBIT (~50%) and top line (~40%) with both manufacturing and retail sub segments’ performance. The Leisure sector followed with a 30% contribution to EBIT and 22% contribution to group revenue, although EBIT dropped 29.5% YoY due to partial closure of Lakeside...

It seems that the JKH shares selling pressure is now over, and it should not fall further. The Water Front project is progressing well, Cinnamon lakeside is nearing the refurbishment, Deputy Chairman of JKH Ajit Gunewardene is appointed as an advisor to the Tourist board. Taking all into consideration good times are ahead for JKH. Do not forget their Interim Dividend in November.

Good behaviour in these two counters will lift this boring market to the next level. This market need strong break out now. In a strong market we will see more beautiful stocks. As I said before there could be Pre-budget rally and post budget rally as well.

Once we see strong market any stock can have strong demand suddenly. In that type of situation many investors will benefit. To happen it we should see some activeness in some stocks in the market. I believe finally we are going to see it. There is range of stocks to select in the market now. Some pull back create great opportunities in the market.

JKH has become market mover during last week.

We are seeing increased volume trading in JKH day by day during last couple of days. In the mean time both local and foreign bargain hunters, intelligent investors and traders are slowly targeting some attractive stocks and stock which are having correction or pull back.

Still this market is not in the bubble stage. We didn’t see many bull stocks during last couple of months. We should see more bullish stocks in the coming months.

When stocks have attractive earnings, have formed their major uptrend and strong momentum we should grab them from our both hands.

As I said before, sell off stocks in September and some volatility in October created another great opportunity in global markets.

In addition to JKH, we should see more market movers in the coming weeks.
