On Thursday, I was with my broker at his firm. They have facilitated their clients with a giant screen to allow them to monitor share dealings and several clients use to come their to have a chat with fellow (small scale largely) investors.

I heard several aged and experienced investors were talking about HDFC. They were refering to a valuation done on it where its intrinsic value was round 99-100. I saw several valuations done on this by Teller, Troy and SLFINANCEWATCH. Seems to be they were talking about those valuations.

However, on last Friday and Thursday prices dropped and HDFC was traded at a low of 71.50 also. Believe this was due to month end credit clearance and no any deviation from those valuations.

Hope next week will show some glimpses of green and HDFC will come to its potential value. Teller, Troy and SLFINANCEWATCH pls share your views on this recent price drop and near future (1 month) targeted prices.

Otara, Most of the good shares behaved in same manner, look VFIN,PABC,LFIN,PLC..time will come..market is now following rumours and other invaluable things..once the market settle down, after budget these good shares will have a good run..Look,PLC ,value is there but still trading around 21.00, Dont panic and also according to one my personnel contact this budget will be a good one for Non Bank Finance Institutions..Also try to grab RAL,LIOC,SIRA,LGL at this level..

The price dropped because of dr.senthilveraj disposal of some shares from his margin ac in recently. Now its almost finished . HDFC Can move with recent quarterly financials.

Guys be patient,, someone dispose small quantities to by larger quantities at a lower price.. This is what high end investors do more frequently..If the basics are with the share do not panic for such downfalls..
