Despite sever critics on budget speech, today market is rising as a rocket within first 15 -30 minutes. Keeping aside such criticism mainly based on economic, political or social factors some stimulus in early trading session is visible but unsure how long the steam generated sustains throughout the day.

Bringing into implementation of the proposals as stated at earliest time is the next task of the government that build up the confidence of people before forthcoming local elections. Traditionally budgets in the regions are leaning to political favour in providing more concessions to the affluent but this time it is said the budget fairly balances between the business & needy classes.

it is said the budget fairly balances between the business & needy classes.

I do not think so. They have made it to looks like that. Actual situation may go otherways or go bad for all.

At the moment 'have not's may feel happy about the budget. To please them, a fair amount of time was allocated to explain price reductions.
But, I feel most of the price reductions proposed to please these 'have not's are not sustainable.

Actually, reducing prices of food items like 'Salmon Tin' 'Halmessa' 'Parippu' cannot and should not be addressed by a budget.   These are imported items from abroad. The retail prices depend on Rupee / Dollar value. A budget cannot decide those end prices. we are going back to 1970's tactics.

A budget should do the strengthening the background to activate the productivity and production in the country to make people 'have' s and maintain Rupee/Dollar value at  balanced levels to make imported food item affordable.

We know, unnoticed hidden charges in the 2016 proposals  will be announced gradually to make business owners unhappy with difficulties.

For eg. all the PVT. LTD. Companies have to pay 60,000 annual charge !  At the moment it is less than 1/10 of it.
They have calculate income for the Govt.  by multiplying number of companies by this amount. Not practical.

I have three Ltd Co. with small turnover in different fields which can easily done without Limited liability if handled carefully.  Why should I pay 180,000 every year?  (15,000 per month !) . That liability is much more than the benefits I get from Limited Liability !
I can pay my tele and other bills saving 15,000 p.m. ( or go for a nice happy ending using part of it)

This is not growth friendly. Compare this with Other countries . Mr.  S. Kathiravelu's blog explains this more:

People are talking about good future of  finance companies. To earn by FCs, people should generate money by participating in business activities in activated and sustainable environment.

I have to highlight these negative factors if I write. Hence I have decided not to talk much about the budget.

we said Chinwi. 60 K to maintain a BRC  is insane.

That means a small business guy needs to fine LKR 5000 per month extra now.
