I have seen many of our friends making losses because of fake rallies created based on speculations and manipulations. When there is a speculation or upward trend, we are more eager to by particular share thinking that we are going to take proactive decision. But most of the time we end up being reactive than proactive. Because by the time we react all the manipulators, speculators and brokers (some) have made their profit and gone.

We have to understand that, we, retailers are getting the news after big players have already received or big players them selves created and spread it. So do not get caught to this situation. We retailers can only react not pro-act. In coming days I'm sure speculations of share splits, acquisitions, right issues etc., can be flooded the market, just to make rich richer and brokers even more richer. Be careful have patience Like i always say, "Patience" is the key. "Knowledge" and "Common sense" will make you rich.

The bottom line is you can't be part of the herd and expect to do well. If you are part of the herd you will only get used. Make up your own mind and not get seduced by what is happening, I know its easier said than done. We can't blame anyone but ourselves for bad decisions or getting sucked into a "fools" rally. We have to take responsibility for the decisions we make - there is no one forcing us to buy or sell. In the short term speculators/manipulators can make things work out for themselves, but in the long run the price of a share will reflect the underlying profitability and future prospects of the company. If we retail customers know we are being played for suckers, then we have a choice to either participate or not. I too believe that patience is the key. I see too much of our fellow investors quick to blame others, but I think like most things the answer is within us, we make the decision to chase some illusion or not.
