in a market situation like this ( where overall sentiment seems to be negative  all over the world) you could still make a profit and recover your losses by selling at a loss  and re buying the same stock at a reduced price. hence you cover the loss and hold the similar quantity back.

warning : this has got its own risk as well , not for faint hearted and amaters/new investers for the stock market.pls askm advice from your brokers

thanks

We can see panic selling from retailers. We have to adjust according to the market situation and should stay with our own strategy. This is a good lesson for us to learn how brutal market can be in some situation. However, this is how market creates opportunity for some market participants. In addition, if we don’t stay in the market we can miss some of the big move as well.

There are market participants that they buy and sell stocks due to specific reasons. It is better to study portfolio and this is the best time to rotate stocks as well. I think we should not sell future great winners at any cost. Normally we will keep losers in our portfolio and will sell future winners.

Some will stay calm and will do nothing. This method also will make them rich within a month or in the mid and long run.
