Kankesanthurai Cement and Paranthan Chemical Factories to be recommenced
Minister Rishad Bathiudeen said on Saturday (April 23) that the government takes steps to recommence the giant factories in the North.
He said repair work has already been commenced in Kankesanthurai Cement Factory and Paranthan Chemical Factory. Rishad said that the government was taking steps to recommission the major industrial plants of the Kankesanthurai Cement factory and Paranthan Chemical Corporation.
These two were the major industries located in the Northern Province and stopped their work due to the outbreak of the war.
