Hay guys

I got a news from one my fellow member of CSE about NHL dividend. NHL is going to offer Rs 0.60 per share as divedend Is it correct put comment pls ....

Friends, I just checked their March 31 st Accounts. According to the Balance Sheet they are running with a huge Bank Overdraft. Few items relating to cash availability on March 31st as follows;

Bank Overdraft = Rs. 405 mln
cash = Rs. 24 mln
Advance and deposits = Rs. 100 mln

They do not have any other short/long term investment which they can easily convert to cash.

EPS = Rs.0.76
Last year Net Profit = Rs, 1070 mln
Retained Earnings after above Results = Rs. 990 mln

In the light of the above figures I have little doubt. But anyway they would be in a position to declair a smaller Dividend I beleive.

May be I am Wrong. However we do not know what happened during the last 2 and half month and therefore no one can ignore this news too.

Most of the profit NHL earned are from selling Galadari Shares, Not from their health care sector so it is hard to believe about 0.60 dividend. But it is possible to give a that much of dividend if they are ready to distribute their profit among shareholders which came from selling Galadari shares.

Thanks for your information Kam 2011.. But u mentioned it small dividend what do u mean by it ... In the past 52 weeks I didnt see any Major upward impact of NHL ... But sometime if it will happened it would be a great dividend of the year...!!!

According to the avialable information to me they have given a dividend only in 2010 and that was also Rs.0.05. But with the higher EPS of RS. 0.76 this year they colud consiser a dividend more than that. If their cash position is OK they can go for a dividend about Rs. 0.20-0.30 I believe.

This is not a buy/sell/hold recomondation pl.

I think is better to hold your quantity I have no hesitate it should be offer at least Rs 0.50 collect it on short prices....

Whn i chat with Employee of NHL ... He commented that .... Nawaloka nethi wuney oya Galadari eka ganna gihilla thamai ... many ppl commented tht NHL entered to GHLL @ Wrong time & thy Exit @ Wrong time ..........

I'm with NHL last couple of years ... i dnt think thy wud go for 0.50 ..... last time befor subdivision also thr was only small Dividend Smile

I have a question My dear fiend have u ever think that Pan Asia power declared Rs 0.26 Dividend for Rs 5/= Share ... You have to think twice. My argument is not only for NHL ....& Its depend not only for Finical statement but also Goodwill, the company positive thinking should be affected...
