How much they can give. EPS is only Rs0.016. They are going to give one cent?

AINV matches my guess but not sure how PCHH decides to give 10 cents even they have negative c/f revenue reserves.

PCHH is passing 1.80 mark.

It's new hope is the activated carbon business. PCHH will attract buyers if their Carbon business give sustainable value addition to the group.

Past 9 months performance:

Sept 2015 Revenue 5.5 million Prifit -loss-

Dec 2015 Revenue 10.8m Profit 1.3m During this period they completed upgrading Carbon Plant

March 2016 Revenue 107m Profit 13.4m

More about my study on Activated Carbon business:

USA, Canada are major importers of Activated Carbon.

Activated Carbon is made using several raw materials and processes.

1. Coconut shell - normal and Impregnated
2. Wood based
3. Coal based

Coconut shell based is the beat and purest , can be used even in food industry.

AC Products from Sri Lanka are widely used worldwide in water treatment, gold and precious metals refinery, power plant boiler water purification, MSG alcoholic beverage purification, petrochemical decolorization, wastewater treatment, decoloration of suger , winery , Human medicine made , injection made , veterinary drug made , pesticides made , materials of Toothpaste , mask powder etc.

China is the main producer and exporter of AC. Products from China are wood based and Sri Lankan Coco shell products are at higher demand and highly priced than wood based AC. (Price difference is about 400 US$ per MT)

USA's Importers of Activated Carbon and their exporters in producing countries:

1. Calgon Carbon Corporation - Calgon Carbon (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. China.
2. Carbon Activated Corp - Bieco Link Carbons(Pte)ltd , Sri Lanka.
3. Carbon Activated Corporation - Sinochain Logistics Co.,ltd China.
4. Kowa American Corporation - Philippine Japan Active Carbon Corp. Philippine.

Note: Bieco Link Carbons (Pvt) Ltd is now rebranded as Adam Carbons (Pvt) Ltd .

Haycarb of Hayleys is other Major Procuder and exporter of AC in Sri Lanla, They have manufacturing plants in Sri Lanka, Thailand and Indonesia and exporting mainly to USA, UK and Australia.

The global activated carbon consumption has kept growing with an AAGR of 5.5% . With the rising demand from the global industrial environmental protection, home/automotive environmental protection, water purification and other fields, the world's demand for activated carbon is expected to hit 1.733 million tons in 2017.

Do not keep any hope.
Suppliers have interfered to get their money. PCH has no assets even to pay debtors. So no hope for shareholders. DR.T. Senthilverl is the major shareholder.
It is a negative value company. Each shareholder is in debt atleast by 2 Rupees to outsiders.

That means if you have 10,000 shares , theoretically now you have to pay 20,000/- to debtors from your pocket. Fortunately, it is a Limited Liability company and you lose only money you pay to buy 1000 shares.

During past few weeks we have discussed about PCHH and its potential if they fulfilled the export orders they secured.

Now some people, well known for ugly work, have started opening new threads everyday to destroy its healthy growth.

And the Chairman is a highly capable, former Royalist, cricketer,ruggerite player, Ajith Pasqual.

Which forum ? Sentime nt da ?

I know Ajith's brother Sudath Pasqual played cricket in our times. He had very unusual bowling action. Sudath captained Royal in 1980 and for SL national team. Ajith Pasqual Captained Royal in 1973.

BTW, Some companies create bad images in our memory due to foolish management, bad practices thus consequent failures. Then, if they change management and/or ownership or reform the company it may start new journey. But bad lessons keep our focus away from those shares. I think "the senior member of other forum" has conquered this mentality and looking beyond the barrier. However , still I can't give firm buy signal for PCHH. Waiting to see next report. Rupee over 140 is a plus point .
As I can take risks I bought some shares using profit made mainly from ACAP.

wow ! can you remember Sudath's unusual bowling action?
If my memory is correct he was the guy who rotated arm backwards and then quickly forward to release the ball. He runs few meters and at the last moment rotates his straightened arm to opposite side over his head before rotating forward.
Those days I went to watch some matches just to enjoy his bowling.

Somehow I failed to find any entry about this in internet.

He was in the team which beat India in 1979 world-cup, played in England, scored 23 unbeaten. It was the first time in history of cricket that a non test playing nation had beaten a test nation in an ODI game . Ranjan Madugalle (ODI debut) and Sudath pasqual were the young schoolmates in the winning team.

Apart from activated carbon,micro finance income would also increase in coming quarters.Advances/deposits increased more than 100% from last quarter(53Million to 114Million).
