wow ! can you remember Sudath's unusual bowling action?
If my memory is correct he was the guy who rotated arm backwards and then quickly forward to release the ball. He runs few meters and at the last moment rotates his straightened arm to opposite side over his head before rotating forward.
Those days I went to watch some matches just to enjoy his bowling.
Somehow I failed to find any entry about this in internet.
He was in the team which beat India in 1979 world-cup, played in England, scored 23 unbeaten. It was the first time in history of cricket that a non test playing nation had beaten a test nation in an ODI game . Ranjan Madugalle (ODI debut) and Sudath pasqual were the young schoolmates in the winning team.
