my broker is asia securities (pvt) ltd and they have stop my online trading facilities from 2016/07/01 with saying to introduce new software to online trading. but today they have informed that, the management take decision NOT TO PROVIDE online trading facility any person WHO MAINTAIN THE PORTFOLIO less than Rs 500,000.

please tell me what i want to do? any one got this problem from this broker?
other broker company is same like that ? can i changed the broker ? if yes what is the procedure ?

please advise expert as early as possible

As i know some brokers does so; having a limit of 500k to avoid the access issues

Go for TKS securities, surely they will give online facility with out any conditions. You can transfer your share portfolio with having any charge.

Indunil, I had the same issue with them and the options are to either increase your portfolio value by depositing money to make it more than their limit or move to a broker who has no limits or a limit lower than your current market value of your portfolio.

Talk to other brokers to find out if they have limits. You can find out broker contact info @ CSE website. To my knowledge, NDB has a limit of 50,000/= & Bartleets 100,000/=.

Open a new CDS account with your new choice of broker & tell them that you want your ASI a/c transferred in. They will give you the necessary forms to fill and get your portfolio out of ASIA.

Yes change the broker firm immediately, Acuity Stockbrokers are very good, two big banks are running Acuity Stockbrokers (HNB and NDB behind) and they won’t give trouble like these idiots.

You can easily change the broker.
Because your shares are not with them.

They are with CDS.

Before all, you have to open a new CDS account with the new broker you selected. When it is ready ask CDS from No. 6 - LINK here- from your broker , fill it and hand it to them . (current broker).

If you owe no money to them they have to approve the transfer without any delay and they will send it to CDS. CDS will do the amendments in their computer system to transfer your share to new broker.
After few days check P.f. with new broker. If they have not done keep mentioning it to CDS.

I second this.
Last week I introduced someone to them and they provided online trading facility as soon as CDS registered the new account. Newer asked any payment. The newcomer paid 20,000 to create the buying power and later bought his first stock using online facility.
Their IT unit is right accessible and helpful.

My broker company is smb securities their research is very upto date and IT ,Accounts are very helpful .

no limits for online trading when opening the CDS account they will provide you online facility.
