Nawaloka group is not prudent in investments.they showed it recently by investing Galadari shares.They bought GHLL shares at high as Rs34 and sold at a marginal price after holding many years.luckily EPF came for their rescue. They are also good in manipulating shares.They manipulated Nawaloka shares and directors were found guilty. This is FYI.

NAV per share is is 0.76 and this year loss is 0.65 per share.
so it comes almost down to nothing of value...

Well said Teller, we have to evaluate the owners prior to invest in a business. We have several classic examples how the businesses collapsed due to poor management.

There are few other so called Business tycoons in the country who don’t concentrate on the real business but finding short cuts of making money. Better to be away from those businesses.

Dear Friends, Just have a practice of evaluating the owners of a business prior to put your hard earn money. Who bought CSF @ Rs. 4.00 or above has to suffer now. I have the same feeling for the other share as well. This is the first face of the game.

Q1 NPAT 34, Q2 21 and half year EPS is 0.24. Sometimes there will be trading apportunities and watch out for price weakness. Traders to look closely.

FY PAT for owners Rs162mn Vs a loss of Rs549mn a year ago.
NAV per share recovered to Rs1 and EPS for current year stands at Rs0.22. Further net cash flow from operations have improved more than 100% to reach 310mn. These are signs of recovery to me and looking at the growth in PAT quarterly they would be reporting a higher EPS of around 30-40 cents for the next financial year.
I would recommend CSF @ current price levels rather than buying SFS. CSF trading at a PE of 5.9x @ CMP with a PBV of 1.3x.

It's once again proved that Asanga senavirathna is a fail businesman. When Asanga has major holdings Nation Lanka was reported huge losses. Now with new share holders it seems on a correct track.

Actually you should study about this stock more closely. Last Friday and Thursday we saw an early signals of the stock breaking the shuffles but remaining on the same levels yet. I heard that they too entered into the lucrative ( and blood sucking) micro finance business. Knowing how BLI, COCR, etc. built on this business what can you think on CSF. its definitely worth to study.

The two badly beaten and now (almost) turnaround companies, Nation Lanka and PCHH should give clear signals about their future when they announce next reports.

For the time being we can take bold steps if we have buying power and holding capacity.

I have my reservations on PCHH but on CSF I have confidence. Was collecting below 1.30 when the market was really bad but since then didn't got get the chance to grab any more. But eargerly waiting to collect if the share pulls down once more.

01.01.2016 - 30.06.2016 - during that period traded 52 Millions stock traded bellow Rs 3.00

Month July Traded 28 Millions stocks.

we can assume that 28 Millions stocks are from bottom and traded now.

so then Market will be trade bellow 58 Million Real stocks bellow 3.0

if this quarter make 10-15 Cents. then this stock will trade above 3.0 very easily. maybe something can happen tomorrow also. if we compare with BLUE trading patter this will be traded over 3.0 short term.

Nation Lanka, hammered with impairments and deposit withdrawals following Golden key saga, is recovering slowly yet steadily. Their new business model has earned them a fantastic interest yield with a huge loan book growth. As some of you may aware now Nation Lanka has entered into the lucrative micro finance business and join hands with COCR, BIL and LOFC.

Just a summary of key financials with a conservative estimate for FY 2016/17 is given below.

According to the above table you may seen the double digit growth in loans and advances with an interest yield of over 40%, a mark achieved by none other than BLI. You may recall my thread on benchmarking finance sector stocks where I showed BLI earning an interest yield of over 48% where as majority of other finance companies just generate a yield around 20%-25%. So in that sense you can get an idea as to how Nation Lanka will do in the future.

The above PAT was estimated based on very conservative assumptions of loan book growth and PAT margins yet they can generate an EPS of 30 cents for the next financial year which translates to a PE of 6x at the closing price of Rs1.8 but still trading at a discount to the industry PE benchmark. NAV tyrned to positive 1 in 15/16 from a negative 1 in 14/15.

So within 2 to 3 years this company generating a profit in excess of half a billion so that the price should reach Rs5/- which means a lucrative medium term investment for you.

Do your own analysis also to take an informed decision.

I have analyse last two quarter financial report.

I feel they will produce 10-20 Cents for this quarter.

this is my Idea....

Bcz last quarter they made 8 Cents. I expect this time over 10 cents and bellow 20 cents.

maybe that is practical......

The below is how the technical charts look like as of now. Technical charts indicates BUY and moving averages indicates Strong BUY. But better to have caution as well since RSIs shot up to 80 levels due to this weeks heat up. It is possible to break the psychological barrier of 2/- today but better to wait if you are unable to grab some below 1.90. In terms of financials the share is worth to have a mid term to long term bull run so keep that in mind as well specially when the share price declines.
