There is no toffee or coffee. The perception (may not be the fact) of a formidable opposition to Gota had an effect on the market. This will affect the market as a whole and not only AEL.

Quarterly results are not so gud as some of the guys made a cheap promotions here just before the market close, those who exit were lucky. Hope this will drag the prices down even below the 16 levels by Oct..lets play again until then be silent....

I actually bought at 16 and sold at 21.10 got an awsome profit....now many are in margin and prices will fall like crazy.....because brokers are the buggers who sells stocks in margin now....

yes...AEL report is not bad..without any financial fundamental only for perception it went to Rs.37...

Agree.In the first place, AEL did not appreciate based on expected good quarterly result & its not a quarterly result that decides the price of a share. The bulk buyers are no fools, they know the near future potential of AEL provided the right candidate wins. Can anyone claim that the AEL price appreciation was based on the basis that the just released quarterly result was going to be fantastic???? Oh NO!
If chances of Gota's victory becomes probable even within next few weeks long before next quarter result ,one can certainly witness a bullish AEL. Why is that?????
Today's SF's comment about Sajith P may help stabilize AEL price at present levels on thursday. Wait & see!!!
Whether we like it or not the direction of CSE indices is now heavily dependent on who would lead the nation & subsequently form a Govt. Better analyse leadership qualities of potential winners and their attributes to deliver than looking at charts at least for the time being.
In my opinion market can nose dive and be sluggish or reach glory status depending on who wins. Sluggish or Glory let's wait & see. Hope you got the message!

The company profits is up although the group profit is down. Hope this will settle at 19 -20 levels for a while.

thnks for the advices..I got the information few foreign projects received to AEL.. and some information got but unfortunately it has not work as expect.. Any way my suggestion ,no need to afraid.. JKH leader ,all banks quarter reports are not good as we expect...

All are knew that ..Easter attack effected..market ran due to political change...still not finished yet..previous time AEL started journey from 22 ended up with Rs.37..Actually for previous era AEL valuation also not worth more than Rs.30 But it went from future expected profits and mind set of port city....

POLITICAL CHANGE IS IMPORTANT FACTOR ...

100% , it will come down to 16. I know the nature of this pattern . Its inverse to CTC pattern. Formula works basis of short term price appreciations. If price appreciation above 50% with in a given time, it will VLookup the next value. In parrelly it will create V chart but its adverse AEL regular chart. For me of course 16.30 LKR must touch.

This was heavily traded for the last couple of days. So coming down to 16 is bit impossible. Will hope this will settle within 19-20 levels before it will fly high after elections.

Everyone shud understand that this share is very much politically stimulated & sensitive , its climbed not merely bcoz of its fundamental value or its profitability . The company is not making huge profits as expected right now as well ,but definitely it will make gud profits under a favourable regime. Thats why the price dragged deeply in history whenever it did not meet the favourable political backing.... so dont expect too much magic with this share at this time when mostly locals engaged with trading.... but im again saying this has a typical timing and u shud hav the same timing..!

the 16 story is a cunning attempt for those who missed the bus to board the bus and for some to average knowing very well the potential rise is nearby. For that matter JKH should fall to around 110 level. AEL price would stabilize at present level and zoom higher as Gota's victory is now assured.

When there is a favourable regime change as anticipated in the article, AEL's price is expected to move up based on future earning potential. Investors perceive the change and hence the interest would continue.
Remember, past is not a good predictor of future when circumstances change.
